What is OpsCommon?
OpsCommon is an operations management platform designed to help teams coordinate complex operations. It provides tools for mapping, task management, event scheduling, team coordination, and asset tracking.
How do I create an organization?
After signing up, you'll be prompted to create or join an organization. Click on your profile menu and select 'Create Organization' to set up a new workspace for your team.
How do I invite team members?
Navigate to your organization's Members page from the sidebar. Click 'Invite Members' and enter their email addresses. They'll receive an invitation to join your organization.
What are Operations (Ops)?
Operations are the core organizational unit in OpsCommon. Each Op represents a project, event, or mission that your team is working on. Ops contain tasks, events, team assignments, maps, and other resources.
How does the mapping feature work?
Each Op has a dedicated map where you can add markers, draw areas, and visualize locations relevant to your operation. Team members can collaborate on the map in real-time.
Can I use OpsCommon offline?
Currently, OpsCommon requires an internet connection to sync data across your team. We're exploring offline capabilities for future releases.
